Massachusetts Woman Uses Obituary to Defend Tom Brady's Innocence
By Kyle Koster
Patricia Shong died on Monday at the age of 72. The Auburn, Mass., resident chose to defend New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady with a few of her final words.
"Patricia enjoyed scrapbooking, cross stitching, pixel art, knitting, and crocheting. She relished weekly card night with the ladies. Patricia was known for being an avid reader which all who knew her can attest to based on her mini home library. She especially loved spending time with her family. She would also like us to set the record straight for her: Brady is innocent!!"
That right there is unflappable loyalty.
It’s unlikely the posthumous show of support will have any bearing on Roger Goodell’s decision-making in regards to Brady’s four-game suspension. A similar ploy might work on a person more known for their compassion.
