Jonás Gutiérrez's Goal vs. West Ham was the Best Moment on the Final Day of the EPL Season
By Mike Cardillo

Jonás Gutiérrez ensured Newcastle United would remain in the Premier League next season with a goal late in the second half vs. West Ham that made it 2-0. There hasn’t been very many positives this season at St. James Park, but let’s take a moment to smile with Gutierrez, who returned to the team in March after overcoming a long battle with testicular cancer. The relationship between the player and club remains strained over how it dealt with him during his treatments — loaning him to Norwich City last January — but it didn’t appear to be on the Argentine midfielder’s mind when he celebrated with teammates and fans.

As a result Hull City joins QPR and Burnley in the Championship. Gutiérrez also assisted on Moussa Sissoko’s goal in the 54th minute.
