Bulls Management Continues to Smear Tom Thibodeau on the Way Out

#Bulls sources: at least three starters ripped Thibs in exit interview, said they'd avoid team facility this summer if he were still there.

The Bulls’ front office fired Tom Thibodeau earlier. They did so via an aggressive press release talking about how Thibs violated their circle of trust, and are continuing do so through Dan Bernstein, the local CBS radio personality and columnist who has such a cozy relationship with Bulls brass that he should give up pretense and just write for the team web site.
However, Bernstein’s report jibes with what KC Johnson wrote in the Chicago Tribune last night: “Some players didn’t endorse Thibodeau’s return in exit meetings with management.”
Now, this is not to say Tom Thibodeau was perfect. While he overachieved with hobbled lineups the last several seasons, one will never know whether some of those injuries came because he rode his players too hard. But, the Bulls have already gotten rid of him. They’ve been smearing him for months on his way out the door, and it’s a terrible look for the organization that they continue to do so through media stooges after making the decision.
