San Diego State University beat UC Santa Barbara in the Regional round of the College World Series. With a full count in a tie game in the bottom of the 8th, SDSU’s Steven Pallares stole home, sliding under the tag of the UC Santa Barbara catcher. The unbelievable steal gave SDSU just their second regional victory since 1990. SDSU was one of two 4-seeds to beat a 1-seed yesterday. [San Diego Union-Tribune]

UPDATE: Not a walk-off. I briefly forgot college plays 9 innings.
