Kyrie Irving may have suffered a “setback” in his rehab according to Colin Cowherd, who thought he heard it on SportsCenter this morning. This is, of course, not entirely accurate. Brian Windhorst said on SportsCenter this morning that the Cavs were acting like Irving had suffered a setback, but were denying he actually suffered a setback.

All we know for certain is that Windhorst’s internet connection is questionable.

Irving, who missed two of the Cavs four Eastern Conference Championship games against the Hawks, has been limited by tendinitis in his left knee. Yesterday Irving said something “miraculous” would have to happen for him to be 100% for the Finals. As of yesterday, 100% seemed like a pipe dream and we may not know for sure until warm-ups on Thursday night. Meanwhile, Klay Thompson has returned to practice, but hasn’t officially been cleared to play in Game 1. So as of Tuesday afternoon, consider the starting lineups of both teams TBD.
