Junior Lake hit a home run, then quickly ran around the bases, giving some sort of gesture in the direction of the Marlins dugout as he rounded third. This did not please catcher J.T. Realmuto, and the dugouts and bullpens soon cleared. Definitely not a brawl, or even a brouhaha or scrum. Just an excuse to get up and move around, really.

The Marlins were up 6-0 at the time of the home run, but manager Dan Jennings got ejected a short time later after arguing a check swing on ball four. The good news is that he didn’t go full Lloyd McClendon.
