Matthew Dellavedova Missed the Cavs Bus, Had to Take an Uber to Hotel After Game 1

The legend of Matthew Dellavedova continues to grow. Per Rachel Nichols, after the Cavaliers lost Game 1 of the NBA Finals in overtime on Thursday night the team bus left without him so Dellavedova ended up taking an Uber ride back to the hotel.

This almost sounds like the NBA version of Home Alone, although I tend to doubt midway through the ride back to the hotel David Blatt screamed out “WE FORGOT DELLY.” Imagine all the pranks Dellavedova could have pulled off left alone overnight at Oracle Arena?

Kyrie Irving is out for the remainder of the Finals, so Dellavedova figures to get more playing time. Hopefully they don’t forget him at the hotel on Sunday night.
