Tom Brady Dancing After the Patriots Got Super Bowl Rings
The Patriots had their private Super Bowl ring party at Robert Kraft’s house last night, but social media ensured everybody could, depending on one’s ideology, revel in or seethe about the excesses of the bling. According to ESPN’s Mike Reiss, the rings feature 205 diamonds, as well as the Rovell-reported-trademarked phrases “Do Your Job” and “We Are All Patriots;” Kraft acknowledged the rings’ ever-increasing size in a statement.
It’s hard not to interpret the size and gaudiness of the jewelry as anything other than double-barrel middle fingers at everybody who thinks the Patriots cheated to win. This is their prerogative, I guess, and more than anything at this point the us-against-the-world mentality is a motivational tactic for this upcoming season.

Robert Kraft may not have had the most gracious past five months, but there aren’t too many men in the world who wouldn’t want to trade lives with him for at least a day.
