Camilo Villegas, who was two-under through his first two holes at the U.S. Open after starting on the back nine, had a brutal time at the par-4 12th. After taking an unplayable lie along a green side bunker and placing his ball, Villegas took three more swings to finally get out of the bunker, finishing the hole with a triple bogey.

Henrik Stenson and Dustin Johnson are the current leaders in the clubhouse at five-under.
