Earlier this week news broke that Diddy was arrested on the UCLA campus after getting into a fight with a football coach. Diddy’s son, Justin Combs, plays for the Bruins. Details trickled out the rest of the week: Diddy swung a kettlebell at the coach in question, who was later revealed to former New York Jets strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi. There might be a video the whole thing waiting to come out, too.

TMZ is at the center of the stories and released two more reports on Friday — likely coming from the Diddy camp. Both of the stories are aimed at the character of Alosi The first centers around a photo of Justin Combs sitting next to his dad (and Ben Stiller) at the 2015 NBA All Star Game and Alosi making fun of him.

"We’re told Alosi openly mocked Justin by putting a pic of him at the game — next to Diddy and Ben Stiller … in all the gym monitors. We’re told Alosi told players … “While you guys are training, this guy is sitting courtside with his dad.” The pic remained up for 24 hours."

The second story from TMZ goes back to Alosi’s time with the Jets.

"TMZ Sports has obtained a letter from a female chiropractor sent to Jets brass in 2010 … raising serious concerns about strength and conditioning coach Alosi. According to the chiropractor, Alosi got into a “fistfight” with Pro Bowl cornerback Darrelle Revis. The doctor added Alosi has a pattern of abusive behavior and the Jets needed to get him under control. We’ve learned the chiropractor sent the letter to Diddy’s team, and it could be a secret weapon. The D.A. will review the assault case for possible felony prosecution, but if the main victim looks unsympathetic and even violent, it’s way less likely they’d go forward. Juries don’t like unsympathetic “victims.”"

A member of the 2010 Jets confirmed the alleged Revis-Alosi fight to NJ.com, too.

Admittedly I’m not a legal expert and we still don’t know the actual facts in this case. If the Diddy camp really wants to try to case a pall on Alosi’s character a quick Google search yields hundreds of results from infamous sideline trip against the Dolphins in 2010.
