NASCAR Still Hasn't Quite Solved Its Confederate Flag Problem

NASCAR vowed to eliminate confederate flags from races a week ago. This weekend, NASCAR fans rolled into the sport’s most famous venue for the Coke Zero 4o0, confederate flags in tow. Perhaps the saddest image featured this woman double-fisting beers taking a selfie with a Marine holding the end of a giant flag while a tiny Confederate flag stuck out of her back pocket.

The flags also flew in the infield on Sunday. Even more flags were visible during practice on Friday. Makes you wonder just how “aggressive” NASCAR will actually be in enforcing this elimination.
