The Undertaker Laid Waste to Brock Lesnar

The Undertaker made a surprise-ish appearance at WWE Battleground tonight (it was “reported” on a bunch of wrestling sites, many of which are notoriously unreliable), interrupting Seth Rollins’ match with Brock Lesnar to destroy the man who ended his WrestleMania streak last year. Nutshot, chokeslam, tombstone piledriver. The works.

This presumably means that a rematch between Lesnar and Taker is going down at Summerslam — one of the bona fide “major” WWE events — in August, and the groundwork has been laid for what will be a compelling pro wrestling storyline. At this point, everything involving Lesnar is just in a different echelon, and the next month should be quite entertaining.
