Jordan Spieth dropped two strokes on the par-3 8th at The Open Championship; he then rebounded with back-to-back birdies. Spieth now sits at -14, just one behind current leader Zach Johnson – subject to change by the time I finish writing this.

On the par-4 12th, Spieth’s second shot landed near the hole and spun back almost off the front of the green. Not wanting to drop below the ridge, Spieth took off running towards the green and yelled, “come on Mike,” at his caddy Michael Greller.

Spieth walked away with a par and then almost holed a chip on the par-4 13th.
