Players' Tribune Reveals Clippers Don't Know Who Leaked Chicken Finger Information

Blake Griffin, a Senior Editor at The Players’ Tribune, published a story today about his involvement in the DeAndre Jordan free agency mess. The story starts by painting this awkward picture. Via The Players’ Tribune:

"I’m looking at Paul Pierce, sizing him up, looking for a tell. He’s looking at J.J. Redick. J.J.’s looking at me. We’re all sitting in a circle, holding up our phones in DeAndre Jordan’s elegant living room. We’re all in disbelief as Twitter is going mad with leaks and rumors. “Who’s the rat?!”"

Chicken fingers. They’re talking about chicken fingers. Basically, the entire damn story is about chicken fingers. That and the Clippers are all good friends. Mostly chicken fingers.

I can’t even find anything on the Internet about chicken fingers during the DeAndre Jordan hostage situation. And I don’t see any mentions of chicken – or chicken emojis – until J.J. Reddick mentioned it on a podcast with Zach Lowe days later*.

Still, this is a great anecdote about an inside joke. Maybe that’s why Jordan re-signed? He had always wanted to be a part of one of those.
