EA Sports Delivered A Perfect Burn to the Seahawks on Twitter About Madden Ratings

The annual Madden ratings came out this week. We’re at the point now that NFL teams are providing their websites with in-house #content talking about them. The Seahawks, for instance, posted that Marshawn Lynch is the game’s top-rated running back with a 96 overall rating.
On Twitter the team wondered why Lynch didn’t merit a 99 rating for “Trucking.”
Whomever runs the EA Sports account pounced on that tweet and dropped a pretty hilarious response …

This probably still irks Seahawks fans who are upset with Pete Carroll over the final drive of the Super Bowl in February. For everyone else? An above-average Wednesday afternoon in July laugh.
And as an added bonus the screen shot reminds me of the original play-calling screen from Tecmo Bowl on NES.
