The Miami Marlins suck. Again. Still. Always. The Marlins currently own the 2nd-worst record in baseball, 40-55. Despite somehow winning two World Series, they’ve never won their division once in 22 seasons. That streak reaches 23 this season.  In addition to incompetence on the Major League-level, they also own 7 other last place teams throughout the various minor leagues. Here’s a closer look (info via Baseball-Reference):

DSL Marlins are 17-28 in the Boca Chica North Division of the Dominican Summer League.
GCL Marlins are are 12-15 and tied for last in the East Division of the Gulf Coast League.
Batavia Muckdogs are 9-22 and last in the Pinckney Division of the New York – Pennsylvania League.
Class A: Greensboro Grasshoppers are 36-59. They have the worst record in the South Atlantic League.
Jupiter Hammerheads are 43-54. Last place in the South Division of the Florida State League.
Class AA: Jacksonville Suns are 38-56. Last place in the South Division of the Southern League.
Class AAA: New Orleans Zephyrs are 42-55. Last place in the American – South Division of the Pacific Coast League.

As a top-to-bottom organization, the Marlins are currently 237-354 in 2015. Of course, we all know that win-loss records are antiquated stats. The Marlins do own one of the Top 100 MLB prospects! 19-year old right-handed pitcher Tyler Kolek is currently lighting up Single-A batters to the tune of a 1.407 WHIP. So the Marlins are only a few years away from turning this thing around. Help is on the way.
