Arizona Cardinals Rookie Damond Powell Reportedly Shot in Hometown

Damond Powell, a rookie wide receiver with the Arizona Cardinals, was reportedly shot Friday night in his hometown of Toldeo, Ohio. Powell and friends were in his driveway when shots were fired by a car down by three men wearing masks, per the Associated Press. The injuries are apparently not life-threatening.
The Cardinals official site posted an update on the story, citing local news reports. Powell, who played at Iowa, went undrafted before signing a free agent contract with the Cardinals in May.
