A newspaper in Maine reported that police had been notified to keep an eye on Roger Goodell’s beach home following Tuesday’s decision to uphold Tom Brady’s four game suspension, but may have given out too much information about the commish’s summer palace.

The Press Herald could have left the description as “Prout’s Neck” and “Scarborough,” but strangely added the name of the street – not thinking, or perhaps not noticing – that the street only has three houses.

One house is for sale. The other isn’t on the Atlantic Ocean. Given the number of views this house has on one real estate website, plenty of people are aware Goodell may own it.

At least the Press Herald added, “believed to own,” which gives them a hedge in case he doesn’t own the house.

Big week for hedges.

Roger Goodell made $35 million in 2013.
