" 36 feet for birdie? Tiger can handle that. Watch Woods complete his round on @PGATOURLIVE. https://t.co/LwYDbVSlOG http://t.co/azHVmewSOg — PGA TOUR (@PGATOUR) July 31, 2015 "

Tiger Woods drained a 35-foot birdie putt on the par-5 eighth, his 17th hole of the second round at the Quicken Loans National. The birdie was Tiger’s sixth of the day and moved him to eight-under, one-back of leader Ollie Schniederjans.

Tiger’s opening round on Thursday got off to a rough start, with three bogeys through the first four holes, but he turned things around and finished with six birdies, including a string of four in a row on the back-nine to get to three-under.

While there are many who will jump to conclusions and say, “HE’S BACK,” I beg you to hold off until after Sunday. Hell, hold off until after Sunday at the PGA Championship, because to some, Tiger won’t be back until he wins another major, which will very likely never happen. Stringing together a few top five performances would be a good thing to see from Woods, at least this golf is watchable.
