LaMarcus Aldridge is Building a Separate House Just For His Sneaker Collection

LaMarcus Aldridge signed a 4-year, $84 million contract with the San Antonio Spurs last month. The 30-year old power forward is from Dallas and just built a new house in Houston. Unfortunately, his new house is not big enough to house his massive sneaker collection. So, like any rich sneaker head, he’s building a smaller house behind his main house where his sneaker collection will live.

I think it’s safe to say that the Spurs power forward for the last two decades has no such extravagance. Unless you can imagine Tim Duncan building a very small house to hold his one pair of house slippers, one pair of loafers, and that pair of basketball sneakers he carries to work in his lunch pail every day. If that does exist, it is the most fundamentally sound sneaker display ever.
