Michael Jordan used to play basketball and he used to play basketball really well. The 1985 NBA Rookie of the Year averaged 28.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists, and 2.4 steals in 82 games.

After typing those numbers and reading them again, they’re pretty impressive. Jordan finished 6th in MVP voting behind Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Moses Malone, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Terry Cummings.

Suffice to say, Andrew Wiggins rookie highlights will look a bit crisper in 2045.
