Zach Johnson and Damon Green Had One of the Best Golfer - Caddie Exchanges Ever

Zach Johnson, your 2015 Open champion, had about 109 yards to go on the par-5 16th during the first round of the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational on Thursday. Johnson and caddie Damon Green shared a bit of confusion before ZJ’s third shot and that lead to this exchange which made the announcers lose it.

"Johnson: “I’m not trying to get it close.” Green: “Ok. Well, if you’re not trying to get it close, that’s the perfect shot.”"

Usually, I save that explanation for after my shot. As for Green, he should be on your list of must-watch caddies. We knew he could dance and celebrate, but now we know he funny too. Johnson finished the round even and tied for 22nd.
