Steve Smith, Quote Machine, is Retiring

Steve Smith announced today that this upcoming season with the Baltimore Ravens will be his last. Smith is 36, and will be remembered for a) punching out of a couple of his teammates in Carolina and b) being one of the best quotes of his time. Here is a smattering of the loquacious Smith:
Dec. 2014: On if he has recovered from an illness: “You can ask my wife about my stamina.”
March 2014: On possibly playing the Panthers, who had released him: “Put your goggles on cause there’s going to be blood and guts everywhere.”
October 2013: On Rams cornerback Janois Jenkins, who taunted Smith during a game: “[He] needs to wear some condoms.” Smith also said of Jenkins, who trashed-talked him: “When a dog pisses on the carpet, you rub it in his face.”
July 2013: On the Panthers needing a sense of urgency to avoid another early so start: “Like a 35-year old woman wanting to get married and pregnant.”
