Is Notre Dame about to get a Hard Knocks-style show on Showtime? According to Football Scoop, a deal could be signed in the next 48 hours.

Plenty of fans would tune in to watch the lead up to the season opener against Texas, and the rest of the schedule is peppered with teams that could contend for a playoff spot – Clemson, USC and Stanford.
College football has wanted to get into the reality genre for awhile now – the Miami Hurricanes nearly inked a Showtime deal last year, but it fell apart late in negotiations.
