Cordell Broadus is leaving UCLA’s football team, but will remain enrolled at the school, according to a report from Scout.com:

"According to sources close to the situation, it was more than likely a matter of Broadus “wanting to do his own thing,” since his father had always pushed him to play football."

Bruce Feldman has confirmed the report.

The wide receiver was a four-star Rivals recruit. It will be interesting to see if anything comes out behind the scenes akin to what happened with Sean Combs, whose un-preferential treatment from assistant coach Sal Alosi led to an alleged attack from Diddy.
