Carlos Gomez Broke A Bat Over His Knee ... On His Third Try

Carlos Gomez is batting .216 in 13 games since his trade to the Astros last month. The veteran outfielder also missed time this week with a sore knee. So you could see why he’d be a little frustrated after striking out in the eighth inning Friday against against the Tigers.
Gomez decided to try the old Bo Jackson routine of breaking your bat over your knee to vent. Problem is, it took him three tries.
Afterward he didn’t sound too upset.

Gomez was asked how his leg is feeling. "Sore, but it's OK," he said and smiled.

Earlier this year Yasiel Puig had a much more successful attempt cracking a bat over his knee.
