A not-necessarily-sober-looking Matt Barnes (now of the Grizzlies) did an interview with TMZ where he said that he and Rihanna were friends, he’ll see where it’s going, and it’s “just a little bit” past the crush stage at the moment. Evidently, this was news to Rihanna, who unleashed a devastating Instagram takedown in the video’s wake.
FWIW, TMZ cited multiple sources as saying Barnes and Rihanna had been on two dates. Sports bloggers anxiously await the next development in this gripping tale.
