Miss Texas Asked Jordan Spieth Out on a Date While He Was Sitting Next to His Girlfriend

Miss Texas Shannon Sanderford is multi-talented. After throwing out the first pitch at a Texas Rangers game earlier this week, she showcased her rapping “skills” during a television interview. The lyrics included an invitation for Jordan Spieth to join her on a date. While it’s unclear if she was serious or just needed the golfer’s name for syllabic purposes, the whole thing was made awkward by the fact Spieth was also at the game, sitting next to his girlfriend, Annie Verret.

It all appears harmless right now, but serious rap beefs have been born out of conflicts more trivial than this.

If nothing else, Sanderford just put a big target on her back in advance of the Miss USA Beauty Pageant. You can’t go tossing this type of bulletin board material around and not get noticed.
