Texans Center Ben Jones Readily Acknowledges Drinking Urine for Money

Jim Mudd, a producer for CBS Sports Radio 610 in Houston, headed to Texans training camp to get to the bottom of the rumor that center Ben Jones drank his own or someone else’s urine. The whole thing felt like a deadpan sketch and after watching it twice I’m still not a thousand percent sure it was serious, but Jones readily acknowledged it.

“It kind of caught me off guard,” Jones said, via Sporting News. “It was a drug test day and I walked out, and (cornerback Kareem Jackson) said that looks like apple juice. I said, ‘How much you pay me to drink this? He threw out a number and I just knocked it on back.”

When Mudd asked Jones if the Texans paid him enough money, he replied, sure, but “the rich get richer.”
