American Pharoah Saratoga POV: Ever Wonder What It's Like to Ride a Triple Crown Winner?

American Pharoah, the greatest living American athlete, will race the Travers Stakes at Saratoga on Saturday. On Friday, he made the rounds at the track, shaking hooves and kissing foals, while thousands of people cheered and took pictures. It’s a big gosh darn deal. While race fans are going crazy about seeing the first Triple Crown winner since 1978 at Saratoga, other people are clutching their pearls about what it means for the future of the sport.

Either way, Friday was a perfect day at the Spa and thousands of people showed up to watch the people’s champ gallop around the track. Admission will be just a tad bit more expensive to see him run the Travers tomorrow, but you can still buy them on StubHub.
