Fred Jackson was cut by the Buffalo Bills on Monday. It was a divisive move in the eyes of the Bills’ passionate fanbase, the #BillsMafia. On the one hand, Jackson had been a solid player who spent nearly a decade with the franchise. On the other hand, he was 34 and they never won anything while he was there. Either way, people cared about the move. And now we have this tidbit that maybe – just maybe – Bills’ GM Doug Whaley went rogue and cut Jackson on his own. Does it matter? Only Buffalo knows.
