Montana State beat the DII Fort Lewis Skyhawks, 45-14, on Thursday night. Montana State started slowly, but this hit by Mac Bignell woke everyone up because holy cow what a freakin’ hit. Poor P.J. Hall didn’t even see it coming.
The 5-foot-6, 170-pound running back caught the ball out of the backfield and was immediately dropped by the 6-foot-1, 205-pound linebacker.
Fun fact about Mac – His brother Nate, a senior defensive lineman for Montana State, is an inch taller and 85-pounds heavier.
