Tim Tebow Staying in Philadelphia? Eagles Trade Matt Barkley to Arizona

The best sign so far that Tim Tebow will be staying in Philadelphia and making the Eagles 53-man roster: They’ve traded Matt Barkley, the QB Tebow was battling for the final spot on the team.

The Cardinals have Carson Palmer, Drew Stanton and then a lot of uncertainty at QB. Last year, they were so desperate at QB, Ryan Lindley started a playoff game.
Quick reminder: In Chip Kelly’s 1st year, the starting QB (Mike Vick) got hurt, and Nick Foles filled in admirably. In Chip Kelly’s 2nd year, the starting QB (Nick Foles) got hurt, and Mark Sanchez filled in somewhat admirably.
Given Sam Braford’s injury history with the Rams, it seems likely that Sanchez and Tebow could see action this year in Philly.
