Nick Saban Agitated By Reporter Who Downplayed Threat of Middle Tennessee State

Nick Saban’s Alabama team still hasn’t totally figured out who its starting quarterback is. Given the NFL talent stocked up and down the rest of the roster, this isn’t the problem it would be for most teams, as was evidenced by a sound beating of the decently-formidable Wisconsin Badgers. Jake Coker took a majority of the snaps, but Cooper Bateman also looked pretty good.

In any event, a reporter asked Saban if Middle Tennessee State — who Alabama is favored by 35 points over on Saturday — presents an opportunity to further settle the quarterback competition. Saban, as anyone familiar with him would expect, proceeded to make MTSU into the Lombardi Packers (in fairness, the Blue Raiders did just put up 70 points on Jackson State), gaining momentum until about the 1:30-mark when you could tell he was shook.
