The Patriots like to cheat. ESPN released a fun little History of Patriots Cheating story today. It sounds like cheating may not always work, but when it does, you can blame the other team for being dumb or lazy.

"Looking back on it, several former Patriots coaches insist that spying helped them most against less sophisticated teams — the Dolphins and Bills chief among them — whose coaches didn’t bother changing their signals."

Belichick has been the head coach of the Patriots since 2000. In that time period, the Bills head coaching list looks like this: Wade Phillips, Gregg Williams, Mike Mularkey, Dick Jauron, Perry Fewell, Chan Gailey and Doug Marrone.

The Dolphins head coaches have been: Dave Wannstedt, Jim Bates, Nick Saban, Cam Cameron, Tony Sprano, Todd Bowles and Joe Philbin.

Take the above picture of Dick Jauron and Cam Cameron. You go to shake Belichick’s hand with your playsheet sticking out of your pants you’ll be lucky if a low-level Pats assistant doesn’t have a hold of your underpants by the time you head to the locker room. Meanwhile, some guys just aren’t meant for success on a meaningful level.
