Blackmail of Jaromir Jagr Over Photo With Model Failed When He Didn't Care, Says Czech Tabloid

The Czech tabloid Blesk.ck is alleging that somebody tried to blackmail Jaromir Jagr to prevent release of this photo of the ageless hockey player in bed with an 18-year-old model. At this point, Jagr allegedly replied that he didn’t care. A lot of the details get lost in translation. For example, the supposed ransom appears to have been 50,000 Crowns, which is just a little over $2,000, and hardly seems like a worthwhile blackmail. There’s a distinct possibility that story is completely made up. Nevertheless, if it’s true, the idea of Jagr’s indifference is pretty fun.
