Liverpool Player Had Loan Cut Short After Paying $75 Fine In Pennies

Liverpool loaned 21-year-old goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux to Swindon Town for some match experience. Swindon sent Vigouroux back to Liverpool, after he paid a $75 fine for being late for training in pennies.
Such cute hijinx don’t fly in League One. It upset Swindon’s coach enough for him to decide to forego a backup goalkeeper in the senior squad.
