D3 College Kicker Scores Crazy Amoeba-Like 2-Point Conversion

Rowan University versus Christopher Newport University was the D-III college football game you didn’t know you were missing last weekend. Rowan won 14-9. They missed both of their extra point attempts, but still managed to score 14 thanks to this freak play that ended with a 2-point conversion.

Kicker Tyler Knighton attempted a PAT that pretty much went straight into the line. He then picked the ball up and got pushed into the end zone along with just about every other player on the field. This looks more like a rugby scrum than anything you’d see on a football field. All 22 players are pushing in various directions. Still, it worked so expect it to be added to playbooks around the nation. [via B/R]
