This is one of those truly rare events. Alexander Nesterov scored a goal in a KHL game, but referees weren’t sure if it went in so play continued. In the ensuing action, Nesterov was called for an elbowing penalty and sent to the box. While he sat down, referees determined that he had actually scored.
