Colts - Patriots Also Had a Clock Snafu, But It's No Big Deal

“What if there was an issue with the clock at the end of a Patriots game?” That’s a question people asked following the running clock at the end of last week’s Steelers – Chargers game. “This! Look at that video up there!” That’s the answer to that question.

Clock operators in Indianapolis forgot to start the clock on a punt late in the 4th quarter of Sunday’s Patriots – Colts game. Realizing their error, the clock then ran off 10-seconds after the whistle. That’s about what they missed and the game didn’t come down to the final seconds so, it’s not that big a deal. Still, this seems like one of those, “You had ONE JOB!” moments.
