This 1983 Pro Wrestling Match Was the First Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler Called Together

Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler, who would become the definitive voices of professional wrestling in the late 90’s, were paired together on this mid-South territory television broadcast in 1983. According to JR, this tag-team match between “Hacksaw” Butch Reed, Jim “the Anvil” Neidhart, “The Iceman” King Parsons, and Lanny Poffo (Randy Savage’s younger brother) was the first match he and King called together.
