Greg Hardy Wants to Hit Eli Manning in the Mouth

Greg Hardy spent last season on the exempt list as he dealt with legal issues stemming from a domestic violence arrest in May 2014. He recently finished a 4-game suspension for that incident. The case was dropped because his girlfriend would not cooperate. Since returning to the NFL limelight, Hardy has promised to come out “guns blazing” and spoke flippantly about other players’ wives. As a reminder, he allegedly threw his girlfriend onto a futon covered in guns. His violent rhetoric isn’t just for women though. Here’s how Hardy plans to disrupt Eli Manning this weekend. "“Hit him in the mouth,” Hardy said. “The best thing for any team is to make the quarterback feel pain. You’ve got to be respectful of the rules of the game and honestly you don’t want to hurt anybody, but to make him feel you is to bring his eyes down. You don’t want a quarterback like Eli Manning looking down the field, ever. Ever, ever, ever.”"

Yes. Respect for the rules of the game! And you wouldn’t want to hurt anyone intentionally! Sometimes, you just have to threaten to hurt someone. Sure, these are just stupid cliches that Hardy is spouting but perhaps someone should tell him to stop answering questions if this is all he’s capable of saying.
