Miami Beat Duke On Pure Pandemonium
By Ty Duffy

Miami scored an insane game-winning touchdown against Duke on a kickoff return, Cal-Stanford level. The play looked to have been called back for a block in the back. The flag, somehow, was overturned after an extensive review. The knee, somehow, was not ruled down. The play stood. Miami beat Duke 30-27.
Could describe what just happened, but it would take far more than 140 characters.

Here is a frame by frame breakdown of the Miami runner. Close, but it appears his knee was down.
UPDATE: Per FOX Sports’ Mike Pereira, the knee was down and the penalty should not have been reviewable.
First, it does appear then there was a knee down based on some pictures that I have seen. It was close but it looked down.

More importantly, they used replay to decide to pick up the flag for the block at the 25. Replay is not allowed to reveiw a call for that.

Word is that crew made the decision but that is bogus as the referee called over the officials after going back to talk to replay a 2nd time
