Yesterday was a dream...my fiancé could not be more amazing. Yesterday he proposed in my hometown of San Diego, in the marina on the ocean that he knows I love, the longest most thought out speech (although it was a blur) and both were crying... Then he took me to a restaurant where he'd reserved the rooftop at and we were surrounded by parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins, and friends. He even picked out my white outfit, as I had no idea what was happening and laid out a few choices. He pointed at the white one and I didn't think anything of it. This man... Is my dream... This man is mine allll mine! My fiancé!!!!!! AHHHHH??????????? Him telling me all the stories of how long he's been planning this day, and how long he's been planning my ring... Made me cry over and over! ? Ps he ALSO had a photographer to capture the whole thing (he is perfect) I can't wait to get those pics i am dying!! So so happy @showtimetate you've already made me the happiest girl in the world I'm beyond blessed to soon be your wife. WOW .... I loveeeee you. ?

Golden Tate proposed to his girlfriend Elise Pollard in San Diego during the Lions’ road trip to Pollard’s home town. Tate had a plan all worked out but then blanked when the time came.

"“I just popped the question, had this big speech, showed up so excited and I blacked out,” Tate said. “I couldn’t remember a single word I was supposed to say other than, ‘Will you marry me?’ She said yes.”"

Turns out, Tate isn’t the only “athlete” in that future family because Pollard can surf and hit a golf ball quite well too.

Surfing with the guys in #Fiji at the famous #CloudBreak I'd never surfed anything bigger than a 2 footer in Hawaii. Its dangerous and people come from all over the world to surf this so yah I figured I could take the baby waves? how could I pass this up! you can only get to this reef by boat, and I dove right off that sucker, put my reef booties on, and popped up! ?☀️?Paddling back out was SNORKELING. Clearest waters, trigger fish rode the waves with us???The most amazing experience!! Definitely got rocked a few times and the backflips were real with coral mm from my face on the tumbles... I specifically remember popping up all discombobulated thinking "how did I not just break my face, I dove face first into 3 ft deep shallow part of the reef at the end of the wave! God just put his hand over my body and didn't let me get cut up" I swear the reef moved, it was crazy! #thankful #keptgoing #pinkboard #beachbabe #Tavarua ??? #nofear
