The Indianapolis Colts are a dysfunctional mess. Andrew Luck is playing horribly and the organization may be hiding a rib injury. Expectations were heightened after the AFC Championship Game, and the Colts may suffer the indignity of winning the AFC South at 6-10 if things continue.

Something was bound to happen. As it turns out, maybe GM Ryan Grigson and coach Chuck Pagano decided to offer up offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton to mutually buy themselves a little more time. According to Adam Schefter, the Colts have fired Hamilton and will replace him with Rob Chudzinski.

I’m not saying that Pep Hamilton was any great shakes, but the issues in Indianapolis seem to go way deeper this year and I’m not sure any of the powers-that-be survive. It’s just a matter of who gets offered up next.
