Stephen Curry won the MVP last season when he averaged 23.8 points, 7.7 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 2 steals a game. His four-game start to this year makes his MVP season look like trash. 37 points, 6.3 assists, 5 rebounds, 2.5 steals a night in a minute less per game while shooting much better from everywhere. (.595 FG / .488 3pt / .964 FT)

On Monday, Curry scored 30 – including 21 in the 3rd quarter – during a 119-69 destruction of the Memphis Grizzlies.  According to ESPN Curry has three 20-point quarters so far this season. The rest of the players in the NBA have managed one. The Warriors are 4-0 and may never lose another game until Stephen Curry is past his prime in 4-years or so. For a bit more perspective, here’s a picture of Stephen Curry making one of his shots last night.

Oh, and here’s one of his 3 assists last night.

Yes, he might be a better passer than shooter.
