JT Barrett’s OVI case has been resolved. Per the Columbus Dispatch, the Ohio State quarterback has been fined $400 and had his drivers license revoked for 180 days. Quietly, right in the midst of all the hoopla at the University of Missouri on Monday, Urban Meyer announced that, after serving a one-game suspension, Barrett will resume practice and be available for the Buckeyes this Saturday against Illinois.

It remains unclear how they were able to skirt the mandatory two-week punishment for alcohol infractions, but you almost have to admire Meyer’s moxie here. What’s the point in having absolute power if you can’t wield it?
