DRAMA.

The New York Knicks and Charlotte Hornets  were in an absolute dogfight on Wednesday evening at Time Warner Cable Arena, and the result ultimately came down to the final two possessions…

Tied at 93 with ~3 seconds left, Hornets Center Cody Zeller snuck behind Robin Lopez and scored a ridiculously easy lay in which appeared to be the game-winner.

But then, with 0.6 remaining…. Kristaps Porzingis GAME-WINNER HE DID IT AGAIN!!!! BUILD HIM A FREAKIN STATUE OUTSIDE OF THE GARDEN!!!!! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES THE INTERNET IS GOING TO FINALLY COLLAPSE.

Ugh, no he didn’t — the ball was on his fingertips.

Can we talk about how the scoreboard time expiration lights illuminated with 0.1 left on clock?

And why did the Knicks only have 0.6 seconds left for the final play and not 0.8 after Zeller’s go-ahead bucket?

Yeah, it ultimately didn’t count … but, if you’re a Knicks fan (GUILTY AS CHARGED) — how can you not be excited about this (almost) moment from the phenom?

Kristaps had a double-double (10 PTS/10 REB) with 10:45 to play in the 3rd quarter, his fourth in the last six games, and more impressively…

The future is bright, Knicks fans…

…the future is bright.
