Facemask Penalty with :00 on Clock Gives Jaguars 53-Yard Game-Winning Field Goal

Of all the ways to lose a football game, how’s this for Baltimore: The Ravens led 20-19, and the Jaguars were hustling to the line of scrimmage to get off one final play. The Jaguars didn’t appear to be set, but Blake Bortles snapped the ball anyway, and he was sacked by Elvis Dumervil to end the game.
Except … Dumervil grabbed the facemask of Bortles, and was penalized 15 yards. This pushed the Jaguars into field goal range for an untimed down. Jason Myers nailed a 53-yard field goal to give Jacksonville a miraculous 22-20 victory.
Baltimore falls to 2-7, and I don’t want anyone to get too excited, but Jacksonville is 3-6, and when you factor in the Andrew Luck injury and the crap in the AFC South, the playoffs are not out of the question.
