Marshawn Lynch's Agent to Russell Wilson: "Pull Your Head Out of Your ..."

Marshawn Lynch has surrounded himself with people who are comfortable calling out his teammates and coaches. His mom’s critical tweets regarding the Seattle Seahawks’ play-calling are widely known. And now it appears his agent, Doug Hendrickson, has taken to giving out some unsolicited advice of his own to Lynch’s backfield mate, Russell Wilson.

The tweet, posted a few minutes before halftime, was promptly deleted.

Interestingly enough, Wilson’s improved play coincided with the salvo. In this case, correlation does not imply causation.

Lynch’s representation taking a shot at at Wilson has no impact on the playing field. Off it, however, it provides yet another sideshow in what has been a circus year for the 4-5 Seahawks. From Kam Chancellor watching the first two losses of the year from the sidelines to an offensive line allowing blitzers to run free toward the franchise quarterback, things have not gone as planned.

The good news for the defending NFC champions is that the wild-card race is wide-open. If they can get their collective head out of their collective …. a playoff spot is right there for the taking.
